Biography:
Dr. Ridenhour is broadly interested in the (co-)evolutionary (e.g. natural selection) and ecological (e.g. community assembly) forces that drive host-pathogen systems. In particular, his research has focused on relating these classical biological fields to questions of public health and epidemiology (e.g. vaccination, social distancing). To study the the short- and long-term dynamics of host-pathogen systems, Dr. Ridenhour employs and develops bio-computational, -statistical, and -mathematical methods.
