Angela received Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Microbiology from the University of Idaho. She then worked as a chemist at Anatek Labs in Moscow and later as a microbiologist at the Washington Disease Diagnostic Laboratory in the Molecular Diagnostics section. Presently in Dr. Paul Rowley’s lab, she is optimizing the preparation of yeast dsRNA for Next Generation Sequencing and empirically testing virus-host protein-protein interactions using mammalian tissue culture systems.
