Biographical Info
David has a Ph.D. in Exercise physiology from Ohio State University. At the U of I, his focus areas include:
- Investigating the relationships between physical activity, food intake, and chronic disease,
- Studying the relationship between the built environment and obesity in children and adults, and
- Developing methodologies to improve the measurement of physical activity and food intake
He is an active member of the Mathematical Modeling of Human Motions Using Recurrent Neural Networks (HuMoNN) working group.
