Currently, our participating faculty represents more than 18 departments from 10 colleges across campus.
Audrey Fu
Assistant Professor Department of Statistical ScienceBiographical Info
Dr. Fu’s research is centered on the development of statistical models and efficient computational methods for genetic and genomic data. She takes a network-based approach to understanding genes and cells. She is also interested in applications of statistical methods to problems related to human genetics and diseases, such as cancer. She is the PI of an NIH R00 Project, “Causal Inference of Gene Regulatory Networks with Application to Breast Cancer.” This project aims to develop statistical models and efficient computational strategies, drawing on recent advances in graphical models and causal inference, to construct causal regulatory networks involving genetic variation and TF binding.
Fu leads the StaGe working group.
