New Communications / Event Coordinator

New Communications / Event Coordinator

Welcome Lydia Stucki, our new communications / event coordinator, to the CMCI team!

Lydia comes to us with a broad background in communications, marketing and event planning. She has over 10 years of experience at the University of Idaho but none of that time has been spent in the College of Science. “It’s a little overwhelming to be surrounded by so many brilliant scientists and researchers,” she said. “But I love learning and am up for the challenge.”

At CMCI, Lydia will be responsible for scheduling the Collaboratorium, coordinating special events and annual meetings, general communication within the UI community and the center’s website.

Outside of work, Lydia enjoys spending time with her family, playing board games, quilting, reading, hiking and hanging out with her honey bees.
