CMCI Faculty Participate in Visualizing Science Exhibit

The University of Idaho’s Visualizing Science exhibit at The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho will run through Oct 27, 2018. We are excited that the display includes the work of CMCI faculty:

  • The Little Phage, by Greg Turner-Rahman, Department of Art and Design, and Holly Wichman, Department of Biological Sciences
  • Nebulous, by J. Casey Doyle, Department of Art and Design, and Bryn Martin, Department of Biological Engineering

We are so excited to announce –

Today the National Institutes of Health awarded a grant in the amount of $290,667 to the University of Idaho to fund research on Patterns of Adaptive Evolution. CMCI Deputy Director of the Collaboratorium Craig Miller and CMCI Director Holly Wichman are the principal investigators.

CMCI Participating Faculty Receive University Awards for Excellence

CMCI is proud to be associated with many accomplished faculty members.

We are pleased to announce that three of our people will be recognized at the University Awards for Excellence dinner on April 25:

  • Tao Xing, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering will be presented the 2018-2020 University Mid-Career Award
  • Berna Devezer has been promoted to Associate Professor of Marketing in the Department of Business, with tenure.
  • Frederick (Marty) Ytreberg has been promoted to Professor in the Department of Physics.

The University Awards for Excellence recognize and encourage excellence in all forms at the academic level. Awards will be presented by President Chuck Staben and Provost and Executive Vice President John Wiencek.
